Hola! Had an absolutely amazing and relaxing week down in Seal Beach, California. I took a ton of photos but I was just having too much fun in the sun to keep up with making posts on the go haha. I’m back in Vancouver now and spending the next couple of days doing research work…then back to Whistler. The good life! Flew in to LA at almost midnight and managed an Uber In-N-Out drive thru stop on the way home haha. First thing we did down there the next morning was surf of course! The water was colder than usual so I’m glad I brought my thicker wetsuit with me. Afterwards we cruised around town on bikes and loaded up on grocery necessities as well as stopped by to say hello at the local surf shop . Ended the daylight hours biking over the pier for an epic sunset surf session and it felt so good to catch waves! The weeks in Hawaii paid off for sure. Gotta love the beach town life…especially with cozy evenings of homemade breakfast tacos for dinner. More surf and sun the next day…mellow morning at home then a bike ride to grab a latte to sip on the pier while scoping le surf. Once the waves started looking fun it was time to grab the wetsuits and get in the water for a long afternoon session. Bliss! What’s even better is that there’s an outdoor shower at the house so taking off wet wetsuits when it’s dark/cold isn’t even an issue…so perfect. There’s so many good restaurants in town and evening walks/bike rides to Main St. for some grub at a couple of the fave spots are musts every trip down! Literally the perfect way to spend a day: surf, tasty food, cruiser bikes and sunshine. Have an awesome Sunday afternoon babeskillets, Tita xx
