Breakfast in Bed

Happy Mother’s Day!  This week flew by with work, but this weekend was simply awesome.  Just got back home after spoiling the best mom in the world.  We staycationed at one of my favorite hotels in Vancouver (right on Granville Island).  It was such a fun weekend; just me, my mom, and my sister.  Super special spending time together like that, all relaxed and not stressing out about daily life.  This morning I woke up early to gather breakfast in bed supplies for mamabear.  It was so nice walking around Granville Island while it was empty in the early AM.  Picked up some pretty tulips at the market as well as fresh croissants at Terra Breads (the best croissants in town in my opinion) and some coffee.  How cute is this shopping tote, though?  Haha, it was actually a gift from mom a few years back.  Anyway, got it all set up on a tray and surprised my mom.  It was so nice to spoil her, she’s literally the most amazing woman I know and I don’t know what I’d do without her!  We are the luckiest daughters ever.  I’ll post more photos from the weekend later, but now it’s time for more fun!  One of my best friends from medical school is coming to visit for a few days and I’m so excited to show her around Vancouver.  Enjoy this evening babeskillets, Tita xx
