Happy Friday! This week flew by, I got back from Whistler on Sunday evening and spend the last four days nerding out in study mode. I also woke up a little sick a few days ago, so I’m in the midst of a summer cold. Lots of lemon, honey, and ginger tea for me! Anyway, I’ve been neglecting the blog again! Getting stressed about my upcoming exam so I’m really focusing on that…but I have so many things to share with you guys. I need to get on top of posting before or after I finish studying for the day. Anyway, last weekend was so fun, Whistler is one of my favorite places (maybe because I spent most of my teenage years there skiing and training with friends….so many fun memories) and whenever I go back I get to see so many familiar faces from near and far. Whistler is a ski town nestled a little North of Vancouver and has an absolutely huge and fun resort for both skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer. It’s a luxurious vacation destination as well as a hub for the best of the best in the ski/snowboard/bike worlds, so when there’s an event like Crankworx you know you’re in for a good show. Sunday was no disappointment, and I got to watch from the Sramm deck (thank you Duncan!) which had a sweet VIP set up with an espresso bar, breakfast sandwich station, and a drinks bar. The perfect Sunday spectating beverages: lattes and Caesars haha. Watched with some of my fave ladies and was stoked when a friend took the win! As you can see from the photos, tons of people come out to watch this event. Check out some highlights here to see for yourself…such a crazy sport! Time to get back to the books for the day. Have a lovely Friday babeskillets, Tita xx
