Moka the queen <3

Welcome to the second installment of my holidays in review!  Something I absolutely love about Christmas is the decorations.  A home looks so cozy with holiday touches.  It’s always so fun to go into home decor boutiques and look through lifestyle magazines for inspiration around the holidays.  So many different and interesting styles.  Thought I’d share our decoration traditions, too.  Never too early (late) for some holiday inspo.  Ours center around the Christmas trees.  This year we had three…just right haha.  My family has been collecting European (traditionally Polish but now made in more places) hand blown glass ornaments in all shapes and sizes.  And I mean ALL shapes and sizes haha.  We have anything from a surfboard to a hamburger.  My latest fave is a manatee (I’m fond of those creatures).  The main tree at home is always lit up with colorful lights to go with the rainbow of colors in the ornaments.  Of course, all the wrapped gifts and Moka complete the look haha.  This year we got a second tree for upstairs.  Lit up in white and full of birds, mushrooms, and forest related ornaments, it’s an ode to my dad and his love of the forest.  Apart from that, there’s plenty of holiday touches inside and outside (including a third tree, potted and lit up with white lights).  Garlands, crescent moons, and even succulents add to the festive vibes.  In our house we keep the decorations up until February 1st, not sure if this is a Polish thing or just our fam haha.  Regardless, I love having tree up that long!  How long do you all keep your Christmas trees up?  Sweet dreams babeskillets, Tita xx
