Beignet overload <3

When in New Orleans, eat beignets.  This classic NOLA sweet has been around for over two hundred years and there’s a couple old cafés in town that have been making them for generations.  We hit up Cafe Beignet in the French Quarter and were not disappointed.  No line-ups like at the touristy Café du Monde, and from word of mouth, tastier beignets.  There’s three locations and we stopped by the one in the heart of the French Quarter on Royal Street.  The interior is adorable, but the outdoor garden area was my fave.  Classic metal tables and chairs surrounded by palm trees and historic buildings…while someone played jazz nearby: so NOLA.  The perfect midday snack while you’re exploring the French Quarter.  Definitely try some beignets if you’re in New Orleans, and if you want a cute café vibe, hit up Cafe Beignet on Royal Street!  Happy snacking babeskillets, Tita xx

  1. Wahhh, I just went to NOLA a few weeks ago and this is making me miss it something FIERCE! Everyone is saying that Cafe Beignet is the place to really go. We went to Cafe Du Monde and were a bit disappointed. Always love your posts, gf!

    1. Thank you babe! Such a cool city and so unique!! Yea, the lines were big at Café du Monde haha and the manager at our hotel told us Cafe Beignet was tastier, but I’m sure they’re both awesome. Love how old Cafe du Monde is though!
