Getting a little Danish up in here 🙂
Spent a day in Copenhagen my last time across the pond, and it was my first time there. Thought I’d share with you babeskillets how I spent the day there. The first thing I saw upon setting foot in Copenhagen was hundreds of bikes. Literally. We took a train into the center of town from the airport and were greeted by bike city haha. The central part of town isn’t very big and can easily be handled on foot. We strolled along to Kultorvet, a square in the historic quarter, where there’s so many pretty flowers for sale and tons of cute looking cafés. We continued to stroll through the historic center where there’s now lots of good shopping and food. Especially excellent is the men’s shopping; love the Scandinavian minimalist style for guys. Essex even did a little retail therapy, ’twas awesome. The more hip line of Carhartt, called Carhartt Work In Progress, is carried at the Carrhart shop here and is full of dopeness. After a little shopping and strolling in the city center, a must is Nyhavn. This area is where the canals and pretty colorful buildings are. Fairly touristy, but SO gorgeous. There’s always street music in the air, lots of patio options, and just such a unique zone in general. This is where we ended our explorations for the day, enjoying the atmosphere and straight chillin’. Happy Danish travels babeskillets, Tita xx
