The most important part of any city exploration is where you sip your coffee and eat your food, of course.  If you find yourself in Copenhagen, look no further: here’s where you should eat and drink.  Cheers!

Breakfast at Apollo Bar

Start your day off right: with ricotta toast from Apollo Bar.  This restaurant and café is nestled in the most adorable courtyard, right off the main strip of Nyhavn.  The vines, the vibes, the food: all so chic.  Perfect for brunch, coffee, and also wine in the afternoons.

Coffee break at Kafferiet

A midday caffeine boost to give you some extra energy while exploring the city is best served at Kafferiet.  There are a few locations, and we hit up the one in the historic center at the of the corner entrances to The King’s Garden.  A tiny little café, with cute outdoor seating and the prettiest to-go cups I ever did see.  Pale pink with turtles: slow coffee 101.

Dinner at Barock’s Harbour Grill

Enjoy dinner in the prettiest park of town: Nyhavn.  Nyhavn is lined with endless restaurants and patios, so it’s not hard to find somewhere to eat.  With views of the canals, gorgeous buildings, and old fashioned boats…this is the spot for dinner with a view.  We hit up Barock’s Harbour Grill for burgers and fries.  SO GOOD.  Can’t go wrong with a classic like that.  Highly recommend this little spot.  It has the cutest hidden patio, as well (for a quieter setting if you want).

Joe & the Juice <3

All praise Joe & The Juice.  Discovered this juice bar at the Copenhagen airport and I’m hooked.  Was stoked to find out it’s a chain that’s extended beyond Scandinavia and into some others countries including the USA!  Super good juices, a cool vibe, and the best refreshing zinger during long travel days.  Happy travels babeskillets, Tita xx
