Positano has my heart.  Not only is the town straight out of a postcard, but the water is so fun to explore, too!  Definitely get yourself on a boat while on the Amalfi Coast.  There’s the traditional wooden gozzo boats which you can take out with a captain and do a whole day trip/tour to Capri (most popular place, as you can boat up to Faraglioni – the famous cliff arch).  This is a pretty classic tourist route, and you can do it with either a group on a bigger boat, or ball out and do a private boat.  We opted for a more fun option…Essex rented a Zodiac boat for us to take out on our own (from one of the many boat/tour rental booths by the beach).  It was SO epic to be cruising along Amalfi’s coastline just the two of us.  We didn’t go all the way to Capri, but there’s tons of cool cliff islands with old fortress ruins on them to check out.  Amazing.  Plus it didn’t feel touristy at all.  If you have someone that knows how to drive a boat – definitely do it this way.  The view when cruising back into Positano is EPIC.  Another tip is to take a beach stroll right at dusk.  The big beach empties out by then, and you can really take in the epic view at it’s far end (and get dope photos, duh).  We kind of just started walking down the beach after our boat adventure and the timing was perfect.  I wore my red pompom one piece swimsuit (it’s on sale now!) as I thought Positano was the perfect place for it…red looks better in Italy hehe.  Arrivederci babeskillets, Tita xx
