Hope everyone’s Wednesday is going swell. I’m at the office this morning being a productive little critter. Going to hit downtown for some shopping this afternoon with my mom and her friend Dorotka that’s been visiting. It’s her last night so we’re doing a girly shopping/browsing date! It’s been so nice having her here, I’ve known her since I was super little so she’s like an aunt to me. A cool, hilarious, stylish aunt. Anyway, I’ve been on the search for a high-waisted denim skirt but didn’t want to break the bank for one as it’s a trendy piece. I looked around and found one at Forever 21! I don’t shop there much, this and the denim jacket I came across were probably the first things I’ve bought from there actually. But I gotta say, this skirt is super cute, love the button up front and the wash. I was super stoked to snatch up an oversize denim jacket, too…literally exactly what I wanted but a quarter of the price I thought it would be. Sometimes it’s fun to check out less expensive brands, especially for trendy pieces you might only wear a few times. I’ll wear both these a ton though haha. Styled it casually here with a cropped hoodie (love the look of a bright hood sticking out of a coat) and some pale pink Velcro kicks.
