Hello from the other side!  After almost a month long hiatus from the blog, I’m back.  It’s been so nice having extended time off from research work and studying.  I was lucky enough to travel a ton, adventure with Essex, relax to the max, and spend time with family in Poland.  Such a special month.  From a sunny week in LA, to European escapades in Denmark, Poland, Italy, and the UK…it’s been amazing.  I finished up my month of complete freedom with an epic weekend of camping on beautiful Vancouver Island to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving with a bunch of amigos.  It’s been wonderful and so refreshing to get medical facts off my brain for a little while, too haha.  I’ve been back for a week and have so many awesome photos share with you guys…from outfits, to food/cafés, to travel guides…so hyped!  During my trip I shared some of the adventures through Instagram stories along the way which was really fun to do, but I didn’t want to spend my vacation time on the computer editing hence the lack of blog posts (especially because I do most of my research and studying in front of a computer screen…the break was awesome).  Don’t worry though…my favorite way to wind down when I’m in the working grind is editing and blogging, so regular posts will be back soon.  Dove right back into work this week prepping an updated proposal for my research project.  I’ll email it out tomorrow morning after reading it over a few more times tonight…feels good to get it done, though!  I also got to catch up with my best friend Shannon over the weekend and check out her new condo in Squamish, so excited for her new digs.  Anyway, as I start to go through the photos and edit I’ll get back to sharing things on the blog (which I love to do :)).  For starters here’s a look from a dinner in Krakow, Poland at a 650 year old restaurant called Wierzynek.  This top by Lovers + Friends which I picked up on Revolve fit in so well with the renaissance vibes haha.  I love this piece though, a cool take on the ruffles and gingham trends for the fall.  The rest of the outfit was pretty simple; some black jeans, my go-to black leather Gucci purse and Valentino heels, and a couple of my favorite pieces of bling to glitz it up.  Alrighty, time to put the finishing touches on my proposal and edit it to perfection.  So nice to be back babeskillets, Tita xx

Happy Wednesday!  It’s extra happy for me because Essex is back and we’re flying to LA later this evening!!  It was so nice to see him last night and have some fam time at home together.  So excited for this month of adventures though.  Just finished packing and getting everything together, now it’s time to get ready and then head to airport soon.  I’ll be wearing some comfy boyfriend jeans, a t-shirt, and leather jacket for the flight tonight but here’s a fancier outfit I shot in Idaho this summer.  These grey jeans are such a pretty shade and it’s a nice change from regular blue or black jeans.  I haven’t had a pair before so I’m stoked to wear these more in the fall.  Love the knee rips, too.  Dressed the pants up with a cute tube top that had a little grey and black coloring then finished the look with my favorite Valentino heels and Gucci bag.  These heels and this bag go so well together and make any outfit look a little more glam.  Cute date night look, I think!  Alright, next stop LA.  Already dreaming of the In-N-Out Uber stop we’ll make on the way to the house haha.  Talk from California next babeskillets, Tita xx

Monday morning!  The sun is shining and I’m going for a long run soon.  Crisp mornings like this are the best.  Last night was another cozy night with the fam, so nice and I’m fully embracing this down time at home!  Love being back to a relaxed morning routine for a few days.  I’ve been having matcha in the mornings lately instead of my usual black tea or latte, and I’m into it!  Just matcha powder with no milk, I’m doing a dairy free stint for a little bit (good for cleansing the skin).  On the theme of matcha, this matcha lemonade I had at Gaiwan Tea House in Coeur d’Alene was soooo good on a hot day.  This spot is super cute, nestled in a quiet neighborhood so it feels like you’re sipping tea in your backyard.  They had a ton of loose leaf teas and awesome tea-drinks available.  Wish I discovered this spot earlier, it’s so nice and peaceful.  If you’re a tea lover like me, check it out!  Alright, time to finish sipping my morning matcha then cardio!  Plan for today is some pre-travel errands and starting to pack for the month ahead haha.  Essex will be here tomorrow afternoon (yay!) and then we head to LA the next day.  Sooo excited to see him, it’s been five weeks and I miss my awesome boyfriend.  Have a rad Monday babeskillets, Tita xx

Good morning, good moooorning!  Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday wherever you are.  Just eating some oats with all the good add-ins: chia seeds, hemp seeds, blackberries, almond butter, and a little turmeric.  My favorite breakfast of the moment.  Then it’s time to get some emails done and organize/back up by computer (it’s long overdue).  The weather is so pretty today!  Sunny and not too hot.  Perfect for a run which I plan to do this afternoon, as well a Pilates workout.  Love being back to a daily work-out routine.  Here’s a look for weather like today: summery but a little more covered for those cooler breezes.  This top from Zara is such a nice color blue, reminds me of jeans.  Paired with these ripped white jeans and some sandals it’s still a summery look.  I accessorized with gold touches to bring the look together.  The perfecto Sunday brunch outfit!  Ciao babeskillets, Tita xx

Hola!  Just in bed after staying up late working on a puzzle haha.  The post-exam relaxation is real.  Spent the afternoon in the city, had my first seminar of the fall at the hospital then met up with mamabear and got a few errands done downtown.  By the time I got home it was almost dark!  Tonight consisted of a tasty dinner, a family walk with Moka, and a glass of wine: so lovely and exactly what I need at the moment.  Getting so excited for my upcoming travels though!  So happy I have some down time at home after the exam to fully recover my brain haha.  I’m  more exhausted today than yesterday!  Looking forward to a cozy weekend that’s for sure, and I love having ample time to get all the pre-travel stuff done.  Here’s some photos from the summer that are fun to look back on…so excited to see Essex in less than a week now!  But let’s talk about this bucket hat…because it’s pretty damn sweet, perfect for days in the sun.  I’m a fan and I think it could look cool with day-to-day looks, too.  Going to try to mix in it to some outfits this fall.  I bought it in Maui last year for my sister actually but I think I’ve worn it more than her haha.  I love hats and toques, as you know by now.  The denim is cute, but it also reverses to a fun aloha flower print.  Kept it denim here for a red, white, and blue feel (with my fave kicks of the summer, the coziest yet cutest t-shirt, and a simple red bikini).  Alright time to go to sleep!  Ciao, Tita xx

Hola!  About to go to bed after my last day of review before a big medical licensing exam tomorrow.  It’ll take all morning, but then I’m free (for a while at least haha)!  Feeling nervous but prepared so all I can do now is get a good night’s sleep and stay focused when I write it tomorrow.  Got an awesome pre-exam surprise package from Essex in the mail today which was the best kind of pretest encouragement for extra luck.  Time to doze off and by this time tomorrow I’ll have time to sit on a dock eating cherries for hours if I want to haha.  Speaking of cherries, here’s a pretty yet very chill look from the Idaho lake life earlier this summer.  I’m always a happy camper wearing stripes and I love the button details on the back of this top.  These dark wash denim shorts pair well will the navy, and the overall look gives off a nautical vibe.  Love me some nauticalness in the summertime haha.  This straw hat was just one I found at the cabin but I think it looks so cute!  Most excellent for protecting your entire face, as well.  The cherries were just icing on the cake here; tasty AND aesthetically pleasing.  Time to snooze, babeskillets, Tita xx

Sunny Sunday vibes in this bell sleeve dress.  As always, white and blue stripes doing their job right.  Love this dress, perfect for chill summer evenings.  It will totally work for the fall, too with a denim or brown leather jacket and some booties.  Statement sleeves are a trend that doesn’t seem to be leaving and I love the bell sleeves here.  So fun!  Found the perfect yellow wall to take photos at, too haha.  My Sunday is going to be spent hitting the books, the weather is nice  though so I’ll hopefully have time for a workout outside this evening.  Have an awesome day babeskillets, Tita xx
