The perfect way to relax after writing a 5 hour medical licensing exam…brunch! Was so excited to get picked up by my boyfriend, Essex (who I haven’t seen in 3 weeks and who drove 8 hours all night to make sure to be there to congratulate me when I’m done). Brain dead, but so relaxed. We went to Medina Cafe in downtown Vancouver, a really cool brunch spot that is a mix of Moroccan and classic breaky. The iced latte was quite tasty, too. Such nice weather for September in Vancouver! The perfect day to relax, in between signing a contract for my new medical research associate position (my first real doctor job after medical school!), afternoon Caesars at The Local (a Kitsilano staple), and a chill evening/dinner with the boy and the fam…it was perfecto! After a quick breakfast with Essex this morning at Benny’s Bagels, he sent me off to UBC (work mode: engage!) and jetted off to the US of A. So stoked to link up with him again next week in LA. Alright, time to get to work…digging deep into the world of rheumatoid arthritis for the foreseeable future. Peace babeskillets, Tita xx
