Hit up Santa Monica on a Saturday evening and the crowds were overwhelming after all the Seal Beach laxin’ haha.  Such an awesome zone though, the pier is definitely worth a walk through.  We had dinner at Blue Plate Oysterette, a small and chic restaurant on Ocean Avenue in downtown Santa Monica.  The decor reminded me of an East Coast beach home in the Hampton’s or something; all pastel blue and white.  The restaurant is pretty small so we waited about an hour for a table hence the walk on the pier and the scoping of pier goods for sale such as official churros, black market churros (sold by ladies whispering churros as you walk by) and bedazzled caps with sayings including but not limited to “Urban Princess” and “Trap Queen.”  I purchased a few, outfit post coming soon…  Anyway, avant garde couture aside it was a nice little stroll just as the sun was setting.  Afterwards dinner was delicious: seafood central featuring fresh oysters, lobster and ahi tuna sandwiches.  Soooo good, I’m hungry just writing about it.   Definitely recommend this spot as it’s not touristy at all, felt like a pretty LA crowd haha.  We also walked by a hotel called “Hotel California” which makes me wonder what came first, the legendary Eagles’ song or the hotel… Alright, time for this urban princess to call it a night, peace babeskillets, Tita xx
