Taking a day off skiing today, it’s super windy up the mountain and not all of the lifts opened so it’s a perfect day for getting research work done with a big mug of Earl Grey tea as an accessory. I feel snowed-in in the best way possible haha. I think were going to pop some cookies in the oven soon too…such a chill day. Sometimes I need a day like this. Here’s a look I’m loving for winter time in the city. I really dig this thigh-high boot trend as it let’s you wear dresses and shorts styled for colder weather. If you match it with a really warm jacket it’s just as toasty as pants I find. This coat from Ivan Grundahl (an amazingly brilliant Danish designer who passed away last year) was a favorite of mine last winter when I was living in Montreal. It’s colder out there and this jacket was soooo warm AND it was beautiful to wear dressed up but also super versatile. I was able to wear it with jeans, Uggs and toques on the daily. Will definitely be wearing it lots again this winter out West. The top underneath is super cool too and it was a built in choker. I’ll post another with it more visible sometime soon. Time to get back to work, in the middle of a literary review of way to many rheumatoid arthritis articles. Gotta love that nerd life! Peace babeskillets, Tita xx
How much is the carabiner? It’s just lovely
