Cruised down the Sea to Sky Highway back to Vancouver last night and the skies were blowing up at sunset. That drive is so gorgeous and it never gets old. Had a couple more cozy days in Whistler which consisted of crisp and sunny morning ski adventures with my bestie Shannon and work-filled afternoon/evenings. Feeling pretty grateful to be in a situation where I can get some solid shredding in and also get a ton of work down in a day. ‘Twas windy up there but we found some protected zones with freshies reserved for us (secret girl posse shred locations…haha). I tend to do quite a bit of traveling these days on both the roads and the skies so I thought I’d make a post on what I wear on travel days! Here’s an outfit I wore for a flight a couple weeks ago. Comfort is key but so is staying warm and looking a little cute haha. This camo coat is so dope…cozy, oversize and easy to pack up into your carry-on if you need to. Paired it with casual jeans and a plain black T-shirt. If I’ll be on a longer flight I usually pack a sweater as well in case it gets chilly on the plane. Saggy oversize bags are a staple for travel days; roomie and easy to stow away. Similar rules apply for road trips with a couple caveats. Firstly, always pick up a road treat from a truck stop (meet Slippy the seal) and secondly, never underestimate a 15 minute power nap if you’re the driver (and always document it if you’re the passenger). Time to get back to work, I’m downtown for the day working on a research presentation I have to do tomorrow. It might be a late night: coffee and tea save me haha. Taking a little work break this evening to go for sushi with one of my best girlfriends Mikaela who’s flying in from London for a few days! Catching her on her way to Whistler as I won’t be up there this weekend. Have a productive day babeskillets, Tita xx
