It’s the end of the week and the weekend vibes are rolling in…in the form of studying all weekend for me haha!  On the grind and embracing it.  This week was a blur in the study bubble.  I did come up for air when Essex surprised with a stay-cation at our fave hotel in Vancouver for a night!  It was the most cozy and relaxing day spent with my favorite person, not thinking about anything stressful.  He knows exactly what to do when he senses I’m stressing about something, and I’m just the luckiest little bugger.  Anyway, thought I’d share a couple tips with anyone who might have to study/review a lot of material over an extended period of time.  It gets overwhelming and sometimes hard to motivate yourself, even it you love what you’re learning about or working towards.  I find that treating yourself to a study session a cute café is a great way to brighten up a book heavy day.  Get out of your sweats and the library/your room and put on something cute (but cozy) to post up in a pretty space and sip a tasty treat.  I checked out a local coffee shop (Creekside Coffee Factory) last week that had huge plush animals to keep you company and delicious vanilla lattes, as seen above.  Another thing I do is workout midday…when it’s raining I do pilates at home (yoga mat is all you need!) and when the weather’s nice a run along the water can’t be beat.  Refreshing your body and brain while focusing solely on physical exertion is soooo good to get you recharged and ready (and away from the computer screen!).  I guess I can add epic stay-cations to the list as well…but that’s a rare luxury.  Alright, time to get back to work for the evening.  Goodnight babeskillets, Tita xx

P.S. – Let me know if you would like more study tips or medicine/medical school oriented posts!
