Hope everyone had a fun Easter!  Mine was awesome, Essex came down and we had an nice and relaxed day with my family (even though my mom and grandma were still sick with the flu).  Didn’t have a chance to make new pisanki (Easter eggs) this year but it’s so cool looking at all the pisanki my family has made over the years!  We use a dye and wax method on hollowed-out eggs so we can keep them from previous years (nothing on the inside to go rotten haha).  We ended the day with a dinner party at a family friends with so much good food (and Chester the dog)!  Woke up in Idaho this morning haha.  After the dinner party and drove all the way to Coeur d’Alene…starting a 7 hour drive at midnight is always fun.  I slept most of the night but then drove the last portion so Essex could have a little sleep before today.  He’s from Idaho originally!  We’re at his parents place now and did some errands and last-minute road trip preparations like convert the truck from winter sled-deck mode to summer canopy mode (Essex) and clean out/mega organize the inside (me haha).  The canopy is sooo dope, last year we built a “bed” out of wood for inside and it’s literally the most cozy camping set up.  So perfect for road-trips and no tent hassle in the morning.  Anyway, after the past 24 hours I am ready to sleep in a cozy bed tonight.  I even took a nap this afternoon which is something I never do.  I guess my body needed some rest and that’s OK with me haha.  Time to watch a movie in bed after a tasty dinner with Essex’s parents.  The road-trip begins tomorrow morning!  Talk later babeskillets, Tita xx
