Worked from home today and I’m about to go on a nice long evening run.  Had a leisurely work day which is exactly what I needed.  Speaking of leisure…I’m pretty sure that is what Seal Beach is made for.  Cruising down Main Street on cruiser bikes is the epitome of Cali beach town life.  Riding along palm lined roads will never get old for me!  I always love my time down there with Essex.  The main strip of Seal Beach looks like a cute town straight out a movie but with a California edge.  It’s always fun to ride bikes over there!  Tons of tasty food, boho shops, and places to grab a beverage.  There’s also a OG surf shop there, as well.  Harbour Surfboards has been shaping longboards there since 1959.  So many beautiful boards and surf history in there!  Rich Harbour, the founder and original surfboard shaper still sometimes comes a shapes boards there…so rad.  There are quite a few clothing boutiques, too all with the same boho beach style vibes.  Stitch and Feather is especially nice with an interior worthy of many a Pinterest pin.  I always love checking out the local shops and maybe picking up a stylish little treat.  At the end of the street right by the pier/the beach there’s a sweet bar and seafood restaurant called The Hangout.  I may have mentioned it before, but this place sells beers brewed in whisky barrels.  Such a cool taste, but watch out…they’re stronger than normal beer!  One is more than enough for me haha.  Time to get outside and enjoy the last of today’s rays.  Talk later babeskilets, Tita xx
