Just finished up writing my latest project proposal and sent it off to be approved.  Took longer than I thought so I’m stoked to be done!  Now I can really enjoy Mexico this week.  Currently winding down with a wine spritzer (half wine, half San Pellegrino) which reminds of one of my favorite places to sip vino in Kitsilano.  The Local is known for a few things, among them a sick patio for weekend brunching, caesars, and my personal favorite: 4 dollar mystery wine.  You pick either red or white and I haven’t had one I didn’t like yet.  Such a fun idea and the perfect place to grab a glass of wine with a friend.  I took Cristina here when she was visiting and we sipped our mystery wine and chatted for hours with views of Kistilano beach behind us.  This place gets packed on warm summer days but mid-afternoon on an overcast day it was nice and quiet…perfect for us to catch up on a year’s worth of girl talks.  Time to enjoy this wine with my mom, the perfect cozy Saturday night!  Cin cin babeskillets, Tita xx
