Boat days are the best days!

Oh my goodness do I love being on a boat…just being out in the ocean makes me feel so calm and happy.  On the beach in Sayulita there’s a bunch of fishing boats that are always down to take out a group for the day.  We lucked out with a real chill dude named Jorge who was keen to take us wherever we wanted.  The bigger the group the better the deal you can wrangle, as well!  It’s a pretty cool way to see the coast line and also check out some places that are hard to get to by land.  Jorge even brought margarita supplies for us haha.  We cruised to Punta de Mita, checked out some off-shore surf breaks, and even spear fished…and the boys caught a few fish!  The crew was planning on making fish tacos (Jorge even filleted them for us) with the day’s catch but me and Essex flew out the next morning and didn’t get a chance to taste the goods.  I’m sure they were delicious though.  Highly recommend a boat day if you’re in Sayulita…just walk to the end of the beach where all the boats are and someone will approach you about it!  I’m currently at my cubicle in research mode and crushing it.  Today’s my last day at the office until August!  I’ll be working remotely for all of July which is awesome, with meetings via phone.  Stoked!  Going to finish up work here for the day then it’s time for a long overdue haircut (trim, really).  Talk later babeskillets, Tita xx
