Hello!  It’s been a while since my last post, but this week was a whirlwind of work and study overload.  Completed the latest chapter of my research and will be putting it on the back burner for a little while.  I’m taking another medical board exam in September so August will be fully committed to prepping for that.  Afterwards, I’ll be doing some traveling before diving back into my research in October.  Sometimes you need to take a step back and realize it’s OK to take a little break from something when you have over-stacked your plate.  It helps when the research facility you work for is super supportive and taking a brief study leave is easy, too.  I feel so much better about everything already and not stressed about fitting everything into the day anymore.  Still working hard, but at a healthy pace…burn out is not on my schedule!  Just finishing up a day of studying and it’s time for an overdue outfit post.  Ruffles are one of my favorite details of the summer and stripes are always my jam.  This top is actually off-shoulder but you can wear it one-shoulder as well, which is pretty cute in my opinion!  Some little denim shorts and platform sneakers finish this sweet, summery look.  Casual and perfect for fun summer days.  I doubled up on chokers here and love the combo of a thick velvet band with a delicate gold chain.  I can’t believe it’s the middle of August already!  I’m going to try to be more on top of my blog now, I still have so much to share with you from the summer so far!  Talk tomorrow babeskillets, Tita xx
