Hello from Whistler! If felt so nice to wake up in the mountains this morning. Got up early and already had a productive day, but here’s a recap of yesterday afternoon. After a nice cruise up the Sea to Sky highway I arrived to a warm welcome at the Mountainside Lodge by Executive Hotels. I have a sweet view of the pool area and the mountains from my room, and the coziest bed. Love my home base for the weekend. Started the adventure with a wine spritzer with a view haha! There’s always so many events going on during Crankworx here, it’s hard to choose where to go! Last night I went to a screening of a film by Bureo hosted by Patagonia. It’s a super cool company run by a group of young engineers who got fed up with all the garbage they saw in the ocean when they surfed and started using recycled fish nets (which are usually disposed off in the water) to make plastic for skateboards! Such a dope idea. There going to start making surf fins like this as well. Definitely check them out! Alright, time for me to get some studying done…there’s a few events I’m hitting up this evening so I need to get work done now haha. Talk later babeskillets, Tita xx
