Crankworx fun!
Hello! Just got home after checking out the end of today’s downhill race. It’s the weekend which is extra busy during Crankworx, and I spent most of my day a little out of the way. Went for an early morning walk to one of the lakes, then got some studying done poolside. Perfect chill day, I needed a little break from the hecticness. Yesterday evening was super fun though! Grabbed a Buddha Bowl from The Green Moustache, as well as a turmeric latte (sooo good) for necessary fuel first haha. Love this spot, organic and healthy! To start the night, I watched the dual slalom which was super sick. Watched part of the race from a little up the hill in the Oakley area, a nice vantage point. Then I migrated to the Sramm zone. They are of one of the major bike-part companies, and have an awesome viewing area set up which I am lucky enough to watch from. Beverages and funky pillows, what more do you need. It’ll be perfect for tomorrow’s main event: Redbull Joyride (where dudes do the craziest stunts on bikes). Then I went to a cool event at Forlise! Gotta love a party with a DJ and a foosball table. Ran into so many familiar faces there, too. Everyone’s always in town this time of year so you bump into friends all over the place! Super fun. Then I got to dance the night away with some of my favorite girls that I haven’t seen in so long. We went form event to event at different bars…you know you’re having fun when they close the bar and you’re still ready to dance haha. Haven’t done that in sooo long. Time to get ready for the evening! My mom’s coming up so I’m stoked to spend some time with her and have cozier night. Talk later babeskillets, Tita xx
