Down time with my fab Mama <3

Went a mini road trip to Washington with my mom earlier this week to pick up some packages, hit up Costco (samples, yessss haha) and few other shops.  It was so fun to just take an afternoon off of studying and spend some chill time with mom.  Blaine, where we have a PO box (it’s much easier/cheaper to get stuff shipped to the US compared to Canada a lot of the time), is a tiny coastal town just across the border.  There’s cute antique shops there which always have fun stuff to look at in the display windows.  I love wearing cozy sweats for the drive across the border, where there can be waits sometimes, and bringing a change of clothes for later haha.  We drove a little further to the next town to hit up some stores with a little picnic along the way.  Homemade pickles and handpicked tomatoes from a farm: so tasty and healthy.  A very European kind of picnic!  I found the BEST thing ever for Moka though..a hot dog costume!  She now officially has a Halloween costume that she doesn’t try to remove within one minute.  I’m so stoked she tolerates it haha.  I think it’s because it’s kind of big on her and it just feels like a blanket, though.  Regardless, mucho successful trip because of this gem of a find haha.  Finally, I added in a photo from our back deck that I took during the eclipse last week.  You can see the whole sky looks darker and more shaded, pretty neeeeat haha.  Alright, back to the books for real now.  Just wanted to post these shots as I forgot to yesterday!  Ciao babeskillets, Tita xx
