Which way to the Cabana Cafe?

Having been to LA a few times now, I thought it was about time to hit up the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel for lunch at the Cabana Cafe in all it’s Instagram glory.  This historic hotel is pink and green from start to finish and it really is a magic little oasis off the Sunset Strip.  Of course, a classic booth was the seat of choice.  The laid back outdoor vibes overlooking the pool area were so LA and I loved every second of it.

Now on the important facts.

To drink?  The Pink Palace Lemonade was a strawberry dream in a cocktail and the watermelon mojito was so refreshing.  If you’re a dude who’s way in over his head with pink cuteness, there’s beers a plenty to man it up a little.

To start?  A must is the truffle fries!  We ordered these while waiting for everyone to arrive and they. were. so. good.  Truffle anything and I’ll eat it.

To nibble?  Really embracing the blogger within, I opted for the picturesque avocado toast.  Huge.  Delicious.  The hype was real.  The ahi tuna salad, tuna poke, and tuna tartar were all tasty, too.  ‘Twas a tuna day, what can we say?  It’s always nice to check out places that the hype is worthy of.  Definitely hope to return to this spot for a meal sometime soon.

To ‘gram?  Naturally get a booth which offers the perfect backdrop of classic green and white pinstripes and pink mirrored walls.  BYOB (bring your own boyfriend) to enable your basic white girl photo needs.  Then put your phone down and enjoy the feast looking out at the pool, palms, and David Spade’s trucker hat (spotted).

Honestly, I felt like a kid in Disneyland finally coming here and it was so dope that the food was actually delicious, too!  Need to check out the Polo Lounge next.  But first, off to conduct important medical research back home in Vancouver, Canada.  Have a fabulous hump day babeskillets, Tita xx
