One of my favorite places to watch the sunset is from the balcony in Seal Beach, it’s so different every time, and there’s nothing like sipping a beer with your favorite person while watching the sun set over the water. Especially after an epic day in the Cali sun. Golden hour bliss…how can you not a photo? Pictured above is my beach town uniform: denim shorts that are cut cute but still comfortable, a bikini that doesn’t require any ties (always stays in place), and a hat for sun protection (thought this leather cap was dope and a sporty switch up from the classic straw hat). Although this is one of my fave spots to watch the sun go down, I can’t get over how beautiful sunsets can be all over world. There’s too many favorites to list, but here are five especially awesome sunsets from 2017 that come to mind (in no particular order):
Ravello, Italy: sipping complementary champagne on our hotel balcony in a beautiful old town with Essex, watching the sun set over the ocean AND mountains.
Whistler, Canada: so many beautiful mountain sunsets with cotton candy skies to choose from…but especially nice are those after a day of sled skiing in the backcountry, so peaceful and serene.
Priest Lake, Idaho: a quiet, smooth lake in the middle of the woods with only the sounds of nature to be heard…the best way to end a summer day of fun on the lake.
Lahaina, Hawaii: warm water, fun waves, and the sun setting over the horizon as you surf…paradise? I think I found it. Sunset surfing is the absolute best (when in warm/tropical places).
Cieniawa, Poland: sunsets in the Polish countryside are beautiful and especially wonderful when you watch them on land that’s been in your family for hundreds of years…thinking of all the people that watched the sun come down in that same spot over the centuries makes you feel some kind of way.
