Guess what? I’m heading back to California in a couple days and I couldn’t be more excited for a study break in the sun! All the California posts this week have me so stoked to get back there. In light of my upcoming travels, I’m sharing a travel outfit with you guys this eve. Comfort is key, but so is looking cute. A nice pair of sleek black sweatpants (no jeans, please) and a basic tank (it gets both hot and cold on a plane…be ready for both) do the trick. I usually have a sweater rolled up in my carry-on bag to throw on if it gets cold on a longer flight. Another trick I do is wear one of my bulkier/heavier jackets. Saves room/weight in your luggage AND looks good. This Theory leather bad boy is dope but kind of heavy, plus cruising around the airport in a biker jacket feels badass. Finally, shoes: sneaker all the way. You want to keep your feet comfortable with all the walking, standing, and shuffling around that goes on at airports. Now onto luggage. How do I pack? If I’m going to a quick trip I try to fit everything into one carry-on sized luggage and one purse (like this slouchy Hugo Boss one) or backpack (especially if I’m taking study materials with me). For longer trips, I pack my larger luggage, as well. In this case, I try to really lighten up my carry-on stuff by either only bringing a purse/backpack or by putting almost everything in the carry-on luggage and leaving my bag/backpack super light (with only my airplane essentials). My fave brand for luggage? Delsey. Love how light they make their luggage…plus: they look sleek, roll well, and have quality zippers. How do you travel? Happy travels babeskillets, Tita xx
