Sunset surf with my love <3
My favorite kind of summer date night: a sunset surf on the lake with Essex. We’ve been super lucky and have been able to maximize time off to soak up the lake life on Priest Lake (North Idaho). Starting your morning on the dock with coffee and a book/magazine is the definitely of chill. Ending your day with a surf is the cherry on top. Love going out and taking turns driving each other. Essex is usually playing around with some kind of new board (this week it was his longboard for ocean surfing haha), and I just have so much fun wakesurfing! Even with the slightly smoky skies, the sunsets are still epic up there. Mixed with the calm water (this lake is so nice and quiet), it’s simply gorgeous at sundown – you feel like you’re in your own little bubble. Soaking up the last of this summer’s lake time this week before heading back to Vancouver, but these sunset surf sessions will be some of my favorite memories from this summer.
