ski jacket and pants: Airblaster / flannel: TNA / helmet, goggles, mittens, backpack: POC

Spent the weekend learning about avalanche and snow safety as I mentioned before.  It was awesome, the weather lined up great and it was the perfect weekend to do a course…it’s a long weekend in BC so both the resort and the village are hectic.  Nice to get out of bounds and take a little ski tour.  I even got some good mellow pow turns in today in between rescue training.  Feeling way more comfortable with the avalanche rescue protocol now, so important to know it.  Thought I’d do an outfit post but shred version haha.  I feel like this is what I wear most of the winter when I’m not in the city.  I love the mustard color of my coat!  The pants are slightly fitted and also have bibs (think overalls) so you don’t get snow up your back.  Bibs are a game changer. Big fan of POC for helmets, mine fits great and I love the mountain design on the back.  Of course, shout out to Volkl for making the sickest skis I’ve rode in a looong time!  The design on them is epic, so pretty haha.  Volkl Ones…thank you.  Don’t they look cute on the back of sled?  His and hers: Essex’s manly Volkl Twos and my girly Volkl Ones.  Alright, time to make some dinner and then have a chill Whistler evening: watch Planet Earth with the crew.  I also have to finish a Valentines chocolate kiss scavenger hunt that Essex surprised me with when I got home today…along with a big caramel apple beaver haha.  The best boyfriend.  Have an awesome end of the weekend babeskillets, Tita xx
