Back in sunny Coeur d’Alene!
Good morning from Coeur d’Alene! It’s so sunny and warm…looks like it’s going to a hot one all week, too. It’s so nice being in the same place as Essex again! When I got to his house yesterday he was working and left me the cutest welcome package. Iced tea, Big Wave, flowers, and of course a potato for Idaho haha. Yesterday had a beer from The Buoy (Essex’s spot!) at their lakeside bar and it was such a perfect Coeur d’Alene welcome, as well. The plan for today is work work work! Might go grab some lunch with Essex on a work break, too. I want to get all my day’s research done efficiently then maybe hop in the lake to cool off this evening. There’s an area called Tubb’s Hill which is a little peninsula of forest, cliffs, and trails right on the water. Perfect for running, tanning on the rocks, and jumping in the lake. Alright, time to get to it…it’s 4th of July tomorrow as well so I want to get a little extra work done today so I can celebrate Independence Day!
