Create & Cultivate LA Conference 2018 <3
Hello hello! Just wrapped up a day of studying and am reminiscing about the Create & Cultivate Conference I was so fortunate to attend in LA a month ago. It was my first time going to a non-medical conference and it was so fun! So many boss babes in one place, and also so many cute outfits in one place haha. It was really amazing to see all the ladies and learn their stories of both success and failure (which leads to a different kind of success, always). Take home message: you can do whatever you want to do if you work hard and want it. No excuses, as Kim Kardashian told us haha. I can be have a rad blog AND be a doctor AND shred my butt off in the mountains. ‘Twas the perfect boost of energy I needed to help me keep crushing the study game these next few months. One step at a time. Also, it was dope to put away the stethoscope and spend the day checking out some of my favorite beauty brands while meeting some of the babes behind the companies.
Here’s a highlight reel of the day (in picture form above):
-arrived to the most aesthetic conference venue I’ve ever seen (the medical world should take note haha)
-met one of my fave LA bloggers, Brittany Xavier: one of the first bloggers I started following when I got into this blog thing, love her boyish chic style
-browsed the pop-up shops including Sage Wellness (a company from Vancouver actually), Reebok (scored some fresh workout kicks), and La Croix (who had the best straws haha)
-avocado wallpaper, enough said
-ran into an OG Degrassi actress, Nina Dobrev: if you know, you know
-met the babes at Nudestix and got to try their new roll-on liquid eyeliner (game changer)
-got my hair did by the gals are The Glam App (shoutout to at @littleeefforts!)
-got my refreshment on with La Croix and Chandon among other tasty treats along the way
-listened to so many boss babe speakers including Aimee Song (of Song of Style), Anine Bing, Lauren Conrad, Chrissy Teigen, Jen Atkin, and Kim Kardashian
-and finally, came home with a mountain of amazing products to use!!!
It was an awesome experience and I’m so happy was I able to attend. Fun and inspiring, a great combo! Cheers babeskillets, Tita xx
